In a partnership with CVS, Victory Housing hosted a series of clinics to provide the FDA authorized single-dose Bivalent COVID-19 vaccine to community residents and employees at each assisted living location.
The vaccination clinics were conducted from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. per the below schedule:
- Bartholomew House – Monday, October 17, 2022
- Byron House – Tuesday, October 18, 2022
- Marian House – Tuesday, October 18, 2022
- Raphael House – Wednesday, October 19, 2022
- Malta House – Thursday, October 20, 2022
- Grace House – Wednesday, October 26, 2022
Residents and their primary care physicians were notified of the clinics by our team of RNs/LPNs at each community to ensure eligibility. As was the goal of previous vaccination clinics, Victory Housing strives for 100% participation of eligible residents and employees. As a corporate policy, all Victory Housing employees are required to be current on all FDA and CDC-recommended COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters.
Per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, “The updated COVID-19 boosters add Omicron BA.4 and BA.5 spike protein components to the current vaccine composition, helping to restore protection that has waned since previous vaccination by targeting variants that are more transmissible and immune-evading.”
