Cambridge Apartments Resident Wins HAND’s 2018 Children Art Contest

9-year-old Kayla Fotso, who resides at Cambridge Apartments in Takoma Park, was this year’s winner of HAND’s (Housing Association of Nonprofit Developers) Children’s Art Contest. This year’s theme was “Show Us Your Legacy.” By winning, Kayla received a $250 cash prize and a surprise gift. Property management company Habitat America also received a $250 cash prize to support resident services. This was the first time a child in a Victory Housing community had won the art contest. The prizes were presented at HAND’s 27th Annual Meeting on June 12th at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington
