Thrilled to share the August 2026 edition of the Victory Housing CARES Chronicle, highlighting major milestones in our mission to provide and preserve quality, sustainable affordable housing!
- Victory Housing completed a $1.3 million, 100% grant-funded clean energy upgrade at Victory Square Senior Apartments using heat pumps, which is projected to cut utility costs by $1 million, dramatically increase its ENERGY STAR score to 93, and eliminate 5.7 million pounds of greenhouse gas emissions.
- Victory Housing appointed Stacie Birenbach as Senior Vice President of Real Estate Development and Paige Gentry as General Counsel.
- For the fourth consecutive year, all six of Victory Housing’s assisted living communities (Bartholomew House, Marian Assisted Living, Raphael House, Byron House, Grace House, and Malta House) were named among the Best Assisted Living Communities of 2026 by U.S. News & World Report.
- Residents engaged in a variety of social, educational, and service activities across communities, including a ’70s-themed Annual Service Day, a trip to NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, a D.C. birthday outing, and seasonal holiday celebrations.
